SlowExposures Photography Festival
Since 2003, the fine art photography festival that celebrates the complexity, the beauty, and the contradictions of the rural American South. Join us in Pike County (one hour south of Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson Airport) for "Four Slow Days" of juried exhibitions, satellite shows, panel discussions, the do Good Dinner with concert by The Sara Mac Band, and our legendary hospitality. We welcome 2016 Jurors David Carol and Eliot Dudik who have selected over 75 images, representing work of over 50 photographers for the main exhibition in Concord, Georgia.

In addition: The PopUp Tour. Eight satellite shows juried by John A. Bennette, hung in nontraditional spaces--barns, stables, old tenant houses, and the Pike County Courthouse. Visitors can purchase a Passport that entitles them to participate in a drawing for prints by the participating artists. Join us in honoring 2015 winner Preston Gannaway who will present her solo show at Strickland's and visit the invitational group show "Southern Icons: A-Z" at the Whiskey Bonding Barn. Mississippi photographer Don Norris will present a satellite show "Southern Vernacular" at A Novel Experience in Zebulon.
