Tell Me a Story
Can we tell story in a single moment captured? Tell Me A Story is a juried photography-based, multimedia group art exhibition at the B Complex Gallery. Co-curated by Anita Arliss and D. Dominick Lombardi, its objective is to draw attention, visually, to the role of photography in the process of making all kinds of contemporary art. About the curators: Anita Arliss, a mixed media artist working in Atlanta, has been merging photography, digital media, and painting since 2000. Many of her works, such as Propulsion, a 20-foot diameter permanent installation in Concourse B of the domestic terminal in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, are included in private and permanent public art collections. D. Dominick Lombardi is an artist, art writer, and curator, who is represented by Kim Foster Gallery, NYC. Lombardi's features, interviews, and art criticism have been published in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Art Papers, ArtNews, Sculpture, and numerous others. As a curator, Lombardi has presented in a variety of museums and galleries across the U. S. such shows as Shaky Ground, Exquisite Porch, HEAD, and many more.
