ACP Public Art - The Georgia FENCE
New for 2016! Drawing on inspiration from the FENCE and also in collaboration with United Photo Industries, Atlanta Celebrates Photography has created a Georgia- based photographers only FENCE. The GA FENCE was juried from a state-wide call for entries by Maria Kelly of the High Museum of Art, Carson Sanders and Taylor Curry of Ain’t Bad Magazine, Mary Stanley of Mary Stanley Studio, Alan Rothschild of the Do Good Fund, Elan Buchen of the Atlanta BeltLine and Amy Miller of ACP. The exhibit features 10 notable Georgia photographers presented in a 250-foot long exhibition of outstanding photography that loosely fits the themes of: home, streets, people, creatures, nature and play.
The unprecedented GA FENCE will travel the state this fall promoting the work of our outstanding talent. The GA FENCE will be featured in Columbus, GA in partnership with Columbus State University and Uptown Columbus; in Thomasville, GA in partnership with the Thomasville Center for the Arts; in Savannah, GA in partnership with Art Rise Savannah; and in Gainesville, GA in partnership with The Arts Council. This project is possible through the generous support of the Forward Arts Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
In Savannah, there will be two locations:
